It is one of our favorite places in Fairfield county. It is now under a new management for the last few years, but the quality and standard is exactly the same as before. A couple of days ago we went there for our anniversary dinner. The staff is so courteous and so friendly, they make you feel like you are the ones that have been waiting for all day. The food is amazing, very flavorful and very high quality, And the prices reflect that quality. I highly recommend it. We will continue going back. One important thing to remember, when you're sitting there and having dinner, you can actually see and imagine the historic schoolhouse.

We were just driving by and we found this gem. It is q tiny restaurant. Luckily it was not Friday cuz I am sure they are over crowded. We had the salmon and the tuna. Both were fantastic!! I strongly recommend to make a reservation!

Great food. Great service. We go every year for our anniversary. Usually on Thursday for the 3 course meal but we've gone on the weekends too. It is very small but I really enjoy it and have always had a stellar experience we will be back again for sure!

Excellent once again. Service is exceptional. Appetizers, main courses were outstanding. We had pasta, steak, calamari and salads... I will say though prices have gone up a lot since our last visit in early Dec. For 3 of us extra 50 for the night, so be prepared.

French press coffee set the tone, followed by very nicely executed brunch items of which we ordered 3 for the 2 of us. Cozy dining room, excellent attentive service.

I’m leaving a review here bc it’s such a cute spot!!!! by a brook and in a historic schoolhouse! and the milanese chicken sandwich was the best i’ve ever had!!! super airy and light bread, juicy and flavorful chicken, and very fresh tomato & lettuce! it was so so good! highly recommend!

The Schoolhouse always delights! Great menu, well-prepared drinks, tasty food and impeccable service. One of the owners, Angela, is seemingly always present and doting on guests. The wait staff are all experienced hands. Open Table ranked it as one of the 100 best brunch restaurants in the country - and its definitely the best in the area. Brunch or dinner - never disappoints. I always leave thinking I should come more often.

Food was outstanding and service top notch. Maybe one of the best NY Strip’s that I’ve ever had. We did not have a reservation, it was an impromptu date night but they got us right in. It’s a small restaurant so I would definitely recommend a reservation for a busy night. Wish we saved room for dessert but we will definitely be back!! A true gem in this small town
